I'm always curious what price people are paying. Just for data points. I've already been surprised at the price differences I've heard about.

Well, that's not cheap. But your area may just be in that higher priced category. If anyone in the Portland, OR area need recommendations on where to get this work done, PM me and I'll give you two places that have been fast and cheap...and accurate.

Big thanks to 1 bored clerk for the file!
Really saved me a lot of time from having to make my own template.
Tryna figure out if I should add one more leg out back for a little more support. Then gonna drop it off to get powdercoated and hopefully get them on the truck

You can still contribute! Take us through your project! And, we don't have files specific to 3rd gen trucks yet. I thought someone mentioned that they are close but need some tweaking. If you have the ability, let me know what needs to move (with actual dimensions please) and I'll get some new files up! Or, if you're CAD capable, make the tweaks yourself and I'll get them posted here. I'd be happy if this rolled on forever! And, we still need 2nd gen Regular Cab files. That's a severely underserved population (because it's a small population) that deserves files! I still want to buy a 2nd gen regular cab for wheeling hard trails but it's a few years out, I'm sure.

I have solid works and I was planning on making a model from the get go for the 3rd gen but this is a huge head start. Ill still crawl under and see for sure what needs to be changed and the model will be posted here for sure when they're ready.

I will let you know I confirmed they will not fit on a 3rd gen, I just haven't had the time to crawl under the truck and take proper measurements to adjust the file as needed.

I figured 2nd gen and 3rd gen would be different. I like everyone's ideas though.

Good to know for sure! If you have a chance to get new files going or get me measurements, we can start a new thread in the 3rd gen section. If you want.

I found it was mostly due to the way they welded the frame of the third gen. A simple trick is to just cut out the offending area and re-weld in the new location.

The weld has to be a fillet on both sides though. A fillet/butt will not work. You need to increase the front clearance by 1/4" or there abouts.

As for the holes. Most of mine lined up. The important ones anyways. The rest I have since slotted or just do a bigger cut out to save weight.

Cut mine today on our 20yr old plasma table. I didn't have any 3/16 scrap long enough for the DCLB so I used 1/4".

Just got to go get the press brake setup when I get time. Also cut my friend some plates since we will be fabbing these up as a weekend project.

Its stupidly close to fitting, couple holes move and Toyota put an X shaped plate at one of the cross beams that needs to be worked around since it wont sit flat on the frame now. hopefully I can take a stab at it this weekend or if i get off work early. But opensource off
Exactly what I was planning on doing

does turning tires to black wall out count? How bout added snug top rebel.
If you read this thread, a couple vendors chimed in what they did, but the OP has a quality write up on how he made one vendors plates conform to his third gen.
