It was a gorgeous day here as well. My wife won wife of the year in my book and helped me wash the truck, hang up the kayaks, and line the truck up in the garage to set the parking aid.

Lower than stock? A LOT lower than stock? You'd have to shove the wheels almost all the way to the top of the fender opening to be bottoming on the bumps.

I was hitting bump man, you saw the pics.

I've got 2016 TRD OR shocks and coils and I guess in some way they are different than my SR5 stuff was

    Wasn't hitting bumps stock.

Stuffed full of ribs and brew. Cleaned under the hood today for a little while and I'm very pleased.

    Hood struts are awesome also.

You simply stated the truth about a 4 banger. He wants a I-4 with the power and towing capability not to mention fuel efficiency of the v6 but either doesn't want to pay for it or has unreal expectations. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it's not going to happen. I've driven a 4 banger dcsb and to be honest it sucks compared to my truck. I knew that though and doesn't suit my needs. Is it a great truck? Yes it is and it does have the low end of the power and not a speed demon. It wasn't made to be. It tows 3500 lbs vs 6500 lbs. if you off-road your truck and tow a good bit then the v6 is what you need. Why? Because you're going to load a off-road truck down with heavy ass parts and you're going to kill a 4 banger with that. Of course I had a 2.7 1st gen and knew how they drive and owning an enclosed trailer I knew I needed something bigger when I got my next truck. Did I know the fuel mileage would go down? Yup it's the nature of the beast. You're either going to get fuel efficiency or you're going to power with these trucks. There is no in between. He's an idiot.

Scratch that fuel efficiency of the v6 part. That's a big ass fucking lie. I think you get where I was going with that though. 4 banger is fine if you want transportation and not towing/big hauling ability. The one I drove it was all it could do to stay at 70 on the highway. I didn't expect more but I think it held its own. I'm sure the 2.7 and the 3.5 are probably comparable. :)
