Capture.jpg Will camp out somewhere along this peninsula 31.264488, -92.650570 (West of Kincaid Recreation Area), Saturday 2/18.

This is all in the National Forest so camp is where you make it.

I can't make it, but have been interested in making a trip like this. Please post pics.

I've camped at Kisatchie once and enjoyed it.

Kind of last minute, but can anybody recommend a good spot to camp in this area?

I'll be arriving late Friday afternoon, so hoping to get an idea of where to check out, in case the camp grounds (Evangeline Camp/Kincaid Lake/Valentine Lake) are full.

Nothing too hard to access (I will be alone). This will be my first time in this area of Kisatchie. Thanks in advance for any help
