Saturday Trump flew into the airport right by my house for a rally. Not every day you have Air Force One fly down your street! Check out the video too: IMG_1638.jpg

When Clinton was President I lived in the glidepath of the airport about 15 miles away. When he would fly into town AF 1 always flew over the house. I always thought it was pretty cool to see that as we don't get many 747's here (much less AF 1). One other thing that I thought was cool was they would store the Presidential Limo at Central Fire Station. I was stationed at Central back when he was President. The Secret Service would always stand guard over the Limo and various security vehicles that we housed in the Engine room for them. I got to be pretty good friends with a few members of the Secret Service and (believe it or not) they were quite cordial. I asked once if I could look inside the limo? He told me that I could but please don't touch any part of the vehicle as they would have to do a complete "sweep" of the vehicle. He opened the door (which is massive btw) and I looked inside and it was pretty damn impressive I must say. The entire vehicle is impressive but that goes without saying.

Going through some photos from last Summer and decided to just mess with editing one that I already knew the light was garbage on (flat moonlight) and ended up actually liking it haha.

Just returned from a 6-day mountain bike / photo trip to Fruita, CO and Moab, UT areas. Had a blast -- I absolutely love it down there. Trip write-up and photos available here: http://www.nwxpdtn.com/tag/reutahtour17/

Experienced the most mind-blowing sunset two nights ago at the Green River Overlook in Canyonlands NP:

I really like it. I got the lens kit with it, and use the 75-300mm lense all the time. I'll be updating to the D750 later this year as I feel I am starting to outgrow it.

I have it about 6 months. Stepped up from a D3000 before that. Still have that camera and use it as a backup.

Fair enough. do you use any editing programs on the back end or just take a picture and it is what it is?

I use Google piceas to do a bit of editing, but not much. I really like it. Best thing g is there are a ton of videos on YouTube about the camera and how to use it. I never shoot in auto or scenes anymore. The camera has a mini tutorial system in it which I found useful when I first got on how to properly take pics.
