Ya Ill be checking them this week if it keeps up. I might just order a new set I think they were like 27 bucks to my door so its a simple fix. Ill have to bring them to the dealer or something to make sure they are gaped right though.

Buy a spark plug gap tool from your local auto parts store. The owner's manual should state the proper gap. Look on YouTube for the proper way to gap plugs. There is really no reason you should need to take this to the dealer.

I'm assuming you all are referring to cleaning the MAF sensor right?

You gotta be super careful when re-gapping iridium or other long-life plugs. The electrodes are brittle and easy to chip, crack or otherwise damage. when you re-gap them, touch the electrodes only enough to measure the gap. If you need to adjust the gap, attach the adjuster on the ground electrode strap near where it is welded to the thread/body, far away from either electrode tip.

The reason they are brittle is because of the iridium or other metal they are made from - these are long life plugs because the electrode metal is super hard and doesn't wear out very fast, but this super hardness causes them to be brittle.

    Norton and maxpower29[OP] like this.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe I damaged them when I did the install. Just checking the exhaust manifold now first though because I also need to replace a couple bolts and studs I bought and that could be the issue I was thinking also if there's a leak
