I'm getting an ARB for my 04 DC PreRunner, my father also wants one on his 08 DC PreRunner. What can we upgrade right now to prevent sagging in the front, that also allows fully lifting the trucks in the future? I keep seeing Bilstein 5100s but I can't figure out how that will work out on stock coils. My dad just wants to put a rough country lift on his like his old Jeep, but I've heard bad things about RC.

Then I could add aftermarket shocks in a few months?

I would get the shocks and springs done at the same time to save time & money/work
Are you looking to stay same height? Or go higher?
Winch? (If so steel or synthetic cable)

As of right now both trucks need to stay the same height, just to keep the bumpers from sagging the front. No winches.

Probably 883-885 coils then for the 2nd gen, and 880-881 for the 1st. That would be my guess.

OK. Then it looks like OME 885 with OME 90021 shocks for 2nd. Then 881 with 9004 shocks for 1st.

Just remember the high the number the stiffer and higher you go. I'm sure anything you decide will work just fine.
