    This!!! Thanks @Crom

After replacing yet another leaf pack (this time personally with a little help from @uurx ) I was experiencing worse vibes than the first time TNT 4x4 of Long Island did them for me earlier in the month. Obviously I googled the shit out of Drive shaft vibes and how they are caused and the root of issues etc. However not everyone reports vibes back on the forum (which means some like me have a tolerance for a every so slight vibe). It got me thinking a bit and my OCD started to take over the past few days. Then I discovered this little thread that Crom chimed in on. I also read @jberry813 latest shenanigans on replacing his leaf pack and getting rid of the shackle flip. I couldn't remember but I was almost certain after his replacement with custom leafs he mentioned dropping the carrier bearing ever so slightly (which made me think I could get away without shims). Bottom line is i used the straight line string technique quoted and sure as shit my CB was shifted all the way over to the Driver side. I was able to determine what was the absolute straightest line and shifted the CB over to the passenger side. Took it for a drive and KABOOM way way way less vibes and a happier feeling truck over all.... Not feeling like such a newb...sort of

PITA to get the breather stuffed in the hose and wound up sanding the end of the breather to get it in.

    Check.

The rest should be here tomorrow and relentless hood mount next week. Just in time for Rausch.

Sounds like we should just swap trucks straight up. Mine haven't squeaked yet :notsure:

Maybe you just have REALLY good hearing.

Lol after a few years in armor and infantry units my hearing is toast.

I seem to always get to play with aircraft, helicopters, tanks, trucks, explosives, and lots and lots of guns.

At least the Army will cover the cost of my hearing aids @ 28 years old. :lalala:

Maybe. I don't know man ARB sent me a whole new pack! Fully insulted and still sounds like shit when it articulates at all. Maybe I just need to wheel it a few times and flex it a bunch.

I've been in TX the last month or so, in school again for another 2 weeks still. Just been too busy I guess. I occasionally lurk on here tho.

Got a few weeks left in NY before I pop smoke. I'll be heading out right after Easter, heading to Las Vegas then Alaska. If anyone wants to go. :D

See I've been to Rausch a few times and have the legendary poop water and mud in there. Probably made it self heal honestly!
