Hey guys, I am sorry for the delay on the shock relocation. I have the 14" Fox 983-02-098 bolted in on the driver side at stock height (currently stock springs and hangers, I needed to experience the stock ride so I can know what is actually an improvement). In the coming weeks I'll be installing the shackle flip with stock springs to see how it droops.

I have said in the past you should be able to get more uptravel than stock, that may not be true, because I neglected to consider the axle angle when flexing. It will still be fine with thick spring over packs and super bumps which is common. We'll have to see how it plays out, I'm just a little disappointed it doesn't appear the will be able to go up considerably higher than stock with a 14" travel shock. Looks like this kit should be able to work with 12" travel as well for the conversion to SUA.

I want to take more time to make sure it will be right, and it's a good lesson to not say too much before you actually accomplish something.

Great product, workmanship is outstanding. Installed on on stock spring pack and gained more than two inches of droop. Can't measure all of it until the brake lines come in. Installed in mid position. The lower rivets suck because you can't just grind the heads off and drive out. Oh, and these are painted as I would not wait for the plating. Ended up with 22 1/2 from center of hub to fender.
