I wouldn't wanna pay for that tow truck..

They seem to be a really smart crew. Sounds like where you go they're honest too. Probably the most important things about buying a new vehicle is the quality of dealership and the people that work there. Hopefully for the OP, all goes smoothly.

All I can think of is maybe this dealership had a problem with some warranty claims in the past with Toyota and they're covering their asses (but going about it the wrong way). That's just bad customer service imo.

This is how those two statements can add up. This pic is from Saturday night. 2 days after storm. The parking sign is probably 6 feet or more off the ground. This is after a snowblower "cleaned up" the street. They plow constantly (24/7) during a storm so we could lie on the ground / pavement even with 30 inches down and more falling. unnamed.jpg

I'd keep an eye on it and just throw a wrench on it and see if the nuts are tight. Paper gaskets sometimes weep a tiny amount before they swell and seal.

That's an extremely small amount of weep. 2 drops at most. It might be done weeping.

There is a balance between getting things all sorted as you want them, and becoming nit picky to where the dealer no longer wants to work with you. Personally, I'd save the visit until you have something more major going on (or if you find the nuts are loose).

I would say its not any different, does not seem like they addressed the issues from 16.

They may just tell you it's "seepage" as it's not dripping yet. Drip will constitute a leak. Depends on the dealer, they all address things at their discretion.

Save the pic above and date it.

Take another pic a couple of weeks from now and see if it's worse.

If it is, take it to the dealer with the pics showing the problem intensifying.

If they say "Normal", keep taking pics at regular intervals so that you have a dated history of the problem.

If necessary, scan them all, making sure to point out the ones identified by the dealer as "Normal", and open a case with corporate.
