No can do....Gotta tune a radio in the AM, and take a dog to the vet in the afternoon.

Having one day a week off work blows.....

It took 3 tries before we managed to pull off the Louisville meet up a while back. I was sorta looking forward to this one, but the wife scheduled the vet visit without telling me. And in anticipation of the LBL meet, a couple guys are getting their trucks ready and I committed to being there to do my part.

Big thanks to @beertimecontinuum for having us over this morning to bullshit and tune his cb. @Bluegrass Taco hooked it up with some bumpstops too. Many thanks. I'll post a couple pictures when I get home from work.

I need to install my crappy CB as well before the trip. I'm sure it'll be when I barely have time like everything else I do.

I dunno how in depth your getting with it but there is a CB guru in Berea. He has a shop off the Berea Walmart exit over behind Lees Famous Recipe. Supposedly people come from all over to have him tune and repair their stuff.

My wife is a teacher and she said she has never seen so many kids absent. They have more kids out today than they did on the last day of school last year :der:

Its just a cheap $50 walmart one for everything. As long as it works in the trail with people around me, i'll be more than happy with it! That's good info to know though. Appreciate it

I work with a guy who does concrete/paving on the side. But too far from ya to be cost effective.

    Good luck!

In this area pretty much everything large(er) is done by Allen Company. There are a few smaller blacktop operations but they are primarily driveways and such. All the other mid to large companies have been bought out by Allen Company's parent company (can't recall the name of it).

well im running into a huge issue where the road to my grandfathers house is perfectly accessible by our trucks but the firetruck and ambulances cant get past our gate, and with my grandfathers degrading health its becoming a huge concern.
im working on building a gofund me right now to try and get some of these issues taken care of but the other part of my leg work is finding companies that can do the work that we cant do ourselves.

I see, I heard big project and assumed it was a million plus. There are several excavation companies near by that do driveways, house sites ect. How long is the driveway? What type of gate is it? Blacktop drive or gravel? Can you just tear down or widen the gate if it's the only issue?

When I said past the gate I didn't mean the gate was an issue
I meant the road turns to shit after that lol
It's not a super long driveway
Maybe a quarter mile or less but it needs to have the incline changed and then be black topped
