    Yeah, not even trying to take it back to toyota. Drums are cheap and easy fix, all parts cost me under $200 so I'll just eat it. Not worth the aggravation of discussing this with the dealer.

    I can't imagine the amount of ribbing you take from your local group

    We do MOAB yearly in our 200 series with ih8mudgroup

    If you need a tow I will be happy to do

    At least we can do Toyota to Toyota towing

    Maybe the brake lining delaminated from the steel brake shoe, broke into a couple of larger pieces, a couple chunks of lining got wedged between the steel and the brake drum?
