I could do feb. 25th or March 4th. I'd also be down to check out Harlan.

So you can fill coilovers with your nitro setup?

@Loganc08 should be able to fill them, and i wont be able to go to potts until may sadly. Harlan is fun, really tight trails mostly but there are a few solid trails worth checking

Busy man! I could probably do May just depends on when.

Would it work for you if I came down one weekend to see if we can fill them? I can't find anywhere around here that does it. Correction...I found one offroad shop but the guy blew me off twice so fuck that.

Stuarts Drafts where I grew up. Been up bald mtn quite a few times. Its not bad...seems like over the years it has gotten easier to ride. They use to take heavy equipment up threw there about once a year to clean it up a bit, as its a bear hunting trail. I havent ventured off the bald mtn trail much but intend to do so some time in the future. Stock trucks can manuever bald mtn fairly easily.

Nah; its a little over 2 hours from me for a dirt road so never really developed an interest for it. Wouldnt mind camping there and doing some hiking though.

Thanks the videos show basically a fire road but in one the guy shows sections where he leaves the main trail and goes through some decent lookng rocky sections.

I haven't been off the bald mtn trail itself in like 15 years. I went up bald mtn back in the fall and there were a few big mud/water holes to run through, but pretty mild the rest of the way. They have put some time and money into setting up a big map at the beginning of the trail and clearing out some of the side trails that branch off of bald mtn. The last time I went off the main trail I was in my 1st gen following my buddy in his wrangler and he was able to continue up the trail as I had to back out and meet up further up the way cause it was to narrow and too sharp of turns for my truck. I wasn't about to put a tree in the side of my ride. My plans are to venture up that way soon and check out those side trails one day. If nothing else its a nice quiet ride up through the mountains.

At the very least most of these trails look safe until I can find or build a set of skids. I've been looking for a couple of months but no vendor will committ that theirs will fit

Yea you would be safe. My truck is still stock. The only thing i have done is gone to a 265 in tire size. When I went up it in the fall I still had the stock dunlops on. I am working on lift, skids and sliders myself.
