I'm about to swap out my steering rack because it's leaking form the pinion seal.
    Ball joints upper lowers.
    Wheel berring
    Steering rack bushing kit

I want the best possible so I can have better tire wear .

It lost a lot of fluid and i was wondering if I should replace the power steering pump and what is the process .
Will it effect the steering rack to run a bad pump?

Can you rebuild a power steering pump or buy a new one?

    Is there any filter?

Should I swap out the Tie rod ends ?

Should I swap out the sway links ????

What else should I do while racks down ?

    Thanks please help

I've got some videos for you that might help you out:

    Steering Rack Replacement:

In this Toytec Lift video, we remove the upper balljoint and press in a Total Chaos sleeve. So, it pretty much shows how you could replace your Upper balljoints:

    Lower Balljoint Replacement:

I bet your power steering pump is fine but there's a good chance the screen on the bottom of the fluid reservoir is partially blocked with gunk. Remove the power steering pump and then remove the reservoir from the pump. Spray a cleaner like throttle body cleaner of Mass Air Flow cleaner into the reservoir from the top and bottom and try to clear the screen out as best you can. A clogged screen can starve your steering rack of fluid. I'd try this first before replacing the pump. There is no other filter for the power steering other than the mesh screen on the bottom of the reservoir.

Swapping out the tie rods would be a good idea if the boots are damaged or the joint feels loose. If the tie boots are good and joint feels good, I'd reuse them.

While doing this I'd replace the sway bar and end link bushings with some polyurethane ones. Replacing the sway bar and end link bushings is covered in the Steering Rack Bushing Replacement video.
