Find you a Wismec rx200 and buy it once. Uses swappable 18650 (3) batteries. It will have all the power you will ever need plus some. You can put any tank, dripper or anything you would want on it. It's a regulated mod so it's not going to allow you to run something on it that will blow up on you. That's mainly the unregulated mods running straight off the battery. You can find one online cheaper than in a store. It may be a little harder to find because it's been replaced by a rx200s. There's more to building coils than winding the wire. You need to know by the wire size how many wraps and what resistance you want to build it to. You also need to make the wraps a certain size around to obtain that resistance.

    This is a rx200.

Haha. Pretty much. Just subbin till I get time to do some reading. Wondering what coils are the most common among different stores. I just use 30 or 50 watt e-leaf battery's. I turn em down to 8 or 9 watts and use 1.5 coils. I've tried sub-ohm .5 and .75 coils but prefer the 1.5 or 1.8's. Not a huge cloud maker myself so to speak.

I'm not either until I put some 90% VG juice in mine then, boom! Flavor sucks with only 10% PG but it will fill a room quick. lol

I didnt like my Wismec (2/3)
Sending it in because screen quit working.
It also drained my batteries way below 3.7
Not to mention a few atomizer won't fit on the 510.
Kanger is solid metal. They sell a 150w that's dual battery.
It's definitely a step up from his current set up and not wanting to spend what a good dual/triple battery mod will cost.
    I recomend kanger for now..
If yota243 really enjoys vaping..and start to go through batteries quickly... then he can save up for a nice alien smok or another quality multiple battery mod. Never hurts to have the kanger as an extra for work..rainy days ect..

I used to wrap my own and will every once in a while now. Still have all my drippers but it just got to be a pain in the ass since I'm on the road so much. Switched to a Smok TFV8-V8 and haven't looked back. 8 coils in it and has outstanding flavor. Sucks the hell out of some juice though. I have to buy all my juice in 120ml bottles and it usually lasts a week. Luckily my BIL owns a vape shop so I get a decent discount. I had gotten where I'd just buy the remade coils because it was easier to get some of the odd builds in them. Plus I didn't have to sit there and wind wire around a single wire myself. I'm mainly always sub ohm on everything. My tank is running a .15 coil in it.

How long do the coils last and what wattage do you run the really low coils at?
edit: I will never build coils, would rather just buy em.

I haven't had a single issue out of mine so far. Sucks that the screen quit working on yours. Since it was draining your batteries below 3.7 think there may have been something wrong from the get go on it? They say the TFV8 and TFV4 had issues on the rx200's but I just tighten mine snug and don't torque it down.

Probably the most expensive mod I've bought has been a Seigeli 150w. That thing is a beast and has lasted a long time. It can't handle this TFV8 though. I gave it to my wife but she never uses it. I figured I'll use it when I want to drip with a .5 build in it. Unless you're going to be running big or really low sub ohm loads on them there isn't really any reason to go above 150w. I never did the firmware upgrade on this one to bump it to 250w because I see no need in it other than to say you have a 250w mod. I did see one the other day that had 4 batteries (300w) in it that may last me a little longer between battery swaps though. I need to start ordering batteries instead of getting them local at $15 a pop.

I was the same way...then I got tank that came with rba head prewrapped coils and some cotton... flavor is night and day.
That's the ONLY reason I make my own...

Being 100% cheaper is just an added bonus:rofl:

I left the batteries sit in the dead mod for 3 days..then got a smok alien and went to charge the wismec batteries...
That's the first time they drained low.
Wouldn't even register at first then we're at 1.4. Eventually got up to 4.2.

I've run some a few months before. When I would swap my cotton out I would take it to the sink and pulse it a few times to get the coils hot then run a small stream of water just over the hot coil and it would get the junk off of it. pulse a few times and repeat. Then reload the cotton and back to going. I ran dual .5 ohm coils around 50-60 watts depending on the juice. Some as high as 70 watts. Depends on the juice and the flavor your using. The flavor will intensify with a higher wattage but you get to a point where some will taste burnt quicker than others and have to lower it back down. Honestly it's easier to just buy them. It can be a pain in the ass at times to build some of them. I haven't built a coil in probably 5 months. I bought a tank and have been happy with it. Really after using it with 6-8 coils in it a dual drip setup isn't too hot anymore. lol Kind of like going from a light to an ultralight smoke.

I've got so much shit and all I currently use is the rx200 and TFV8. lol

I found 3 rda's in the truck the other day. I know I'll never buy another tank that isn't top fill ever again.

My problem is I go in the shop to get juice and see something new my BIL got in and if it's cool looking and shiny I'm all in.

Only reason I got the rx200 was cause I liked the color and it was the last one in that color they had. :anonymous:

Eyoo - thinking about making my own juice.. tired of paying the vape shop for this shit. Recommendations on where/what to buy, etc.? I keep hearing it's helluva lot cheaper to mix on your own.
