Started and finished my @Mobtown Offroad IFS Skid plate install. Looks good, feels good. Mildly difficult to install single-handedly in my wet parking lot, but it does weigh 60 lbs. I rattlecanned it flat black.

Well I bought 5 like new TRD black beadlocks lastweek and today I bought 4 Toyo Open Country A/T2 from the local tire shop to be installed tomorrow.

So to recap I'm going from
265/65r17 Toyos on a Sport to
    265/75r16 on the TRD Beadlocks.

Yes I know the tire is bigger, but it's not enough to cause issues on a stock sprung truck.

I'm more curious on MPG's I know there will be some decline, but my last tank was 23.5 eh.

Damn dude, I'm rocking 17.6 on my last tank, which is SIGNIFICANTLY up from the 13 I was getting before recalibrating the speedo and getting the TSB done. That's some solid mileage you've got.

There should be a plastic hand tighten nut that holds it on towards the top once it's shaped in.

Yeah, 33" mud tires aren't exactly known for their fuel economy. Oh well, I bought the truck to have fun in it.

Changed my oil for the first time at 1,800 miles.

You can see the metal specs in the filter housing. Looks like glitter.
