These are the aspherical mirrors that allow you to see so much more around you. Back up to the beginning of the thread to see a video that Nate shared.

These mirrors and the @ImMrYo rear view mirror riser are in direct competition with each other for being my favorite mod to my truck. Something that you Benifit from everyday that when you get into the drivers seat of one without it you immediately miss it.

Correct, wider to the sides and also curved down so you can spot your tires on the trail. Watch the video in the OP of my truck rolling down the highway with the mirrors installed. Notice that you never lose track of the cars going past me.

I need a volunteer to pop their mirror out of the housing and get me some pictures of the innards. Specifically I need to know if there is a connector on the BSM LED. I already know that the LED can come out of the backing plate, but I need to see if there is a connector. I can either include a new LED, or offer an an attachment method for the stock LED.

    Any takers?

    Thanks

    Nathan

    Do you need a '16 or '17?

I'm assuming they're the same, yes? If you're willing to take some pics I'd appreciate it.

Toyota had best not changed the mirrors between the 16 and the 17.

I have a set done for testing. I still need someone to pop their mirror out of the housing and show me the wiring for the BSM and the defrost films.

My small circular stick on fell off. Now I'm really looking forward to these. I don't have BSM otherwise I would.

One of these days you'll learn to fold your mirrors in when on trail.

Around a month out right now. My new batch had a flaw in it, so they're being remade.
