    You can download apps that provide HUD for speedo and other info based on GPS the one I uses on my honda with no speedometer was speedview. Just downloaded it to a droid phone I picked up at a pawn shop for $10 and plugged it into the cigarette lighter....that phone lived on my dash for almost 3 years and sort of miss the HUD I had

    Looks cool but also a possible distraction, I just prefer a clear view in front of me. If I don't know where I'm going my phone will tell me through my speakers where I need to merge then make a turn.

    Looks cool but not sure if I would want that thing right in front of me during a crash.

    It still boggles my mind when people in ca want to be cool and not mount their license plate on the bumper but instead put it on their dash.

    Personally I need to see more details in the map (like nearby streets) than just an arrow shown on the HUD. If all those details are shown on the HUD, then the HUD would be too distracting...

    This works well enough for me and doesn't block much of my view, being in front of the A-pillar:
