I see all these who's waiting threads and it made me think of the one vehicle I'm waiting to see. When the Bronco comes out my oldest boy will be getting my taco and I will be in the market. I've been eying the 4Runner but I like the idea of a V8 and since I won't be hauling kids I will be able to get by with 2 doors. This is not a Toyota bashing thread as I'm extremely pleased with mine, just wondering what truck/car/suv others might be interested in seeing coming to life.

    I'm looking forward to it.

    How bout a Lexus GX? It's a fancy T4R with a v8?

& if ur concerned...you might want to edit that title again.

I don't know how to edit the title. The Lexus is a little out of range right now and probably not near as tuff as the bronco will be. I've read that ford has rubicon jeeps to overbuild the bronco to in comparison

It would be a lot cooler if they did, there's no definite answer, but I could live without if they go retro with the design.

    Hey Rich.

I wouldn't sweat it. It's a truck forum just so ur not oneshort bad it'll be fine.

I get the price of the GX. Base models can be had for about $50k up to $70ish for a loaded one. They're basically a Prado or Land Cruiser in other markets and the same chassis.

I'm hoping the Bronco comes in a 2 door. Of course Toyota won't do the T4R in a two door because of the chicken tax but the concept & spy shots of the Bronco look good.

I have not seen any spy shots of the Bronco but all of the concepts have been 2 door, since there was never a 4 door Bronco in the past. The next gen ranger I'm sure will have a 4 door though but what I really want is one of those concept Broncos with a cayote 5.0, I'm sure they will offer an eco boost but I want the 8.

That's the word on the street. Like I was saying earlier they are going after the jeep but will build a more refined product with more power.

Actually there was, though it was an aftermarket conversion.

Centurion in Michigan took Broncos and converted them to 4 door and called it the Bronco Centurion. They are pretty common. And pretty huge.

Aftermarket conversion, as in not a factory option. Still ok like a ford suburban.

It'll never look like that, more like a car, like a HiLux.

Sorry to be Debbie downer, gotta call them like I see them. That pictured Bronco is way to cool for them to actually sell it...
