Well, at this point, it's just a stock TRDOR and it's almost too high. But I have grand plans. I would rather not buy $200 steps then replace them with sliders in a year after my wallet recovers.

Oh no I meant any step lower than the door frame step is better than no step.
I would just tell her to be happy she's getting any type of step 20 degrees or zero haha

@foy1der plenty of other companies will be offering their sliders at GB prices soon and if your set on Mobtown's sliders just send them a PM to see when they will be offering the GB pricing at any angle you choose. BTW I had mine done at 10*, a perfect compromise between being swept up close to the body and using them as a step IMO

Here's my 0 degree SOS bolt ons. I added the fill metal. For me, any more angle up wouldn't provide much help getting in.

Anyone know how much brake fluid our trucks take? I have an 08 with just basic ABS. I'm having a rehaul on the brakes done next week.

She won't like them at a 20 deg angle. They are too high to be easily used as a step and she'll be pissed. Get 0 degree

Thanks for all the insight. It's probably worth it to save a bit more and buy what I actually want.

Shouldn't need more that 4 bottles of brake fluid. Probably less, maybe 2?, I forget. It's not a lot, and the AutoZone DOT3 fluid is cheap and plenty good enough for a tacoma

I had 4xinovation slider on my Tacoma . Held up great to a lot of abuse. Bolt on too.

My All Pros were pretty good for steps and would hold the weight of the truck.

Same obstacle but I took a different line. I went over the rock not around it.
