I haven't seen the '16 overhead console in person, but my '07 did the same thing. For me, it was the garage door opener cubby. I jammed some paper towels in there then closed it and it stopped the rattle. Basically, while driving, press on different sections to figure out where the rattle is then either take it to the dealer or figure out how to fix it yourself. If the rattle is between the plastic and the metal of the roof supports, you can use small pieces if sound deadener to stop it.

Take it in to the dealer and have them figure it out.

It's probably just some wires rattling. Take it to the dealership, they'll open it up, stuff some felt in there and your good to go.

I did a little write up in another thread linked below for a possible fix. I was hearing a very similar noise in my truck.

I only have about 125 miles on a new PRO and from day 1 it rattles a lot on the passenger side. Can not drive and play around to find where is from. When parked I tapped all over the places to duplicate it and no luck. Is annoying a lot.

I think it's the dreaded A pillar door handle rattle on the passenger side. My started as a tic tic tic... after I pulled on the handle a few times it turned into that rattle.... getting it fixed... errr looked at next service. You can put a paper towel between the a-pillar and the speaker cover ...see if that helps.

Also I have a rattle that only happens when I put the sun visor in the upright position.....when it hits the headliner I hear a rattle but not the same pitch as the OPs.

That's just what I did, but mine wasn't under warranty. I just meant that you can fix it yourself (in whichever manner you choose) or take it to the dealer. Just suggest you figure out what/where it is so when you take it in, the dealer doesn't try to pull the "it's because you didnt use OE light bulb" thing on you.

My '16 makes this exact same noise while driving, and it's the passenger a-pillar rubbing against the dash speaker cover. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one suffering this annoyance!

Mine makes a similar noise but it's air escaping through the rear sliding window. Need to fix that but haven't gotten around to it. It's temporarily fixed by a bicycle water bottle jammed between the seatback and window.
