My house will have a 5 piece yamaha stage custom kit with sabian cymbals and dw double bass pedal. Just need to pick up a new throne.

 

Ugh I can't make this year - maybe next week.

 

I didn't know you played! I have the same kit. Mines a 6 piece Yamaha Stage Custom with a very limited fade sunburst paint job along with a Noble & Cooley solid maple snare (my favorite piece), all classic Zildjian A cymbals, a mix of Yamaha and Pearl stands and a DW single pedal that is getting replaced by some already bought Iron Cobra double and single single pedals. I just need to get the HiHat stand and a Gajate bracket to hold a block for the single pedal to go left of the HH pedal. Then I'll be fine tuning the stands and stuff then I'll be done. Hopefully

If you want a super comfy throne get a Roc-N-Soc hydraulic. Those are the best but expensive. Expect them to be around $160-$180

I haven't touched mine in forever. Was considering parting with it.

 

Couldn't tell you the last time I played. Had mine over 30 yrs and will never part with it

 

Mine is probably about 17 years old. Sometimes I have motivation to play, but not often.

 

How many of you guys run without the stock swaybar on your lifted setups? I'm weighing options. I do drive a lot on the highways and my driving style does include weaving through peasants....

 

I've been thinking about the exact same thing.

 

When the nice weather is here to stay, I'm going to try it.

 

Weaving through peasants or removing the sway bar? I can't wait for my bumper to come in... She'll be named the protester-plower....

 

Removing the swaybar. Hopefully I'll have figured out my steering problem by then.
