Hella used to ride at the USNWC, also love carpet trail probably the best. Waiting for it to dry out here in San Diego I need to get and ride.

It's a great easy, after work trail. A few laps is a good workout.

Let me know if you want to ride sometime.

Sansom park is close by as well, but it can be a beat down if your 're not prepared.

My first stint in mtbing i cracked a rib at sansom park and split a helmet at northshore, no health ins i quit for about 7 yrs.

I started back and rode river legacy a while, then katie jackson and knob hills ans horeshoe. Knob hills kicked my ass but horseshoe is fantastic.

Damn....I can easily see that happening there. It's very challenging, but doable on a SS.

We gotta get a meet up for the tacoma mtb'rs.

    Well hello there...

Looking at getting a Mtn Bike again, used to ride a couple years ago and was going to buy a better bike back then, but never did and stuff came in the way.

Now looking at a Trek XCaliber 8 with 29" wheels from a local shop.

Can't go wrong with a Trek, not sure where in the lineup that model is, I know a lot more on the road size of things. Generally if you can swing it, don't go base-entry model, a lot more value for money a model or so up the line.

I used to be, finally fixed up my old mountain bike yesterday. Can't find a seal kit for the Manitou Mars C that was on it so I picked up a Fox Float 100 RL and had the shop swap it over.

Must be a sign of getting old when you buy something when it's hot stuff and still have it when its vintage.

Been out of riding for a couple years (no trails here), but moving to McKinney on the 17th and looking to get back in. Anyone up for showing me around some good trails once I get there?

Looking to get back into riding as well and have been looking around, just needs to have a good fork, disc brakes and a hardtail, oh and about $1k so if I don't stick with riding then it's no big loss. Been looking at a few bikes and leaning towards a Scott aspect 730 but open to suggestions.

I thrown them in the air. Whichever lands on it's wheels, winner!

That was actually for a scouting trip, lol
