This is a bad thing, because the different additives from the two mfrs can work against each other. It's actually better to put in 4 qt of Mobil 1 and 1.5 qt of Mobil dino oil.

Please make sure that you drain the engine oil and NOT the AT fluid. Don't laugh it happens more often than you think.:annoyed:

Pennzoil, Mobil, Valvoline, Castrol, Quaker State, etc... all the major brands are very good oils. Oil companies spend millions on research, perfecting and balancing the formulation. You only need to focus on using the right grade (weight) and whether your model calls for synthetic or conventional. Check the manual and follow it closely while you're under warranty, that's my suggestion. Once you're out of warranty you can mess around a little if you feel like it, it's your truck.

Don't overfill - anywhere between ADD and FULL is fine for normal service. But keep it at the FULL mark if you are hauling, towing, or wheeling (severe service).

If you just ask which oil is best for your truck, you will get a million opinions but only a few answers.

Where'd the fumoto valve leak from? I've had mine for 3 years now and it's never leaked, and this is the first time I've ever heard of it leaking

The Signature series is the top of the Amsol line. It has the most ZDDP additive so it can go longer durations before changing. That's all I use.
If you use it to it's full potential, the price of the oil change is well worth it.
