eh don't sweat it. I don't think we will be doing this this year. Merely looking at it to do. And its not all highway stuff. The Dalton "highway" Is nothing but a rough dirt road to Prudoe Bay that is the main trucking route for supplies up to the north slope. Its not a smooth road. Not rugged either..but yea.

Or in otherwords, I'd bring Igor for this not Frank kind of trip.

Still be pretty cool. Plus i have family there and we could go fishing too if we timed it right.

 

Youd be surprised how much springs fatigue without proper damping to slow the ocillations. Perhaps deflate isnt the right word but, how about collapse.

 

don't say that. If you actually start a savings now and don't buy another damn car right off the bat. It'll be more plausible then you think.

in 5 -10 years..i might not be able to do that at all period...too much unknown though to say that.

I never thought it would be such a pain. Like o just take vacation and leave. Sure you can but its the coming back to all the backed up work that is such an issue.

 

Don't sweat it man. You only do one week trips now or you get bored with the company, remember.

 

Today was interesting, got a call letting me know I am a top choice for a fish tech position in lander. They do a lot of work with bears and wolverines too so that would be sweet. Then went to a job fair and have a pretty good shot at an internship being offered this summer with a Laramie based company. They will be looking for my name when it's posted. My buddy did it last year and was made a permenant employee at the end.

Man, not sure what to do. This is a good problem to have I guess.

Id do the lander gig purely because..its lander haha Baller place to live for outdoor stuff. And still fairly low key save for a few large events in the summer.

 

I haven't been there yet but I am guessing Grangeville will compare similar to lander as far as outdoor recreation goes. Ill have access to 5 wilderness areas and 4 national forests totaling 5.5 million acres. I was told that only Alaska can beat those numbers. I know the fishing will be better .

The Laramie based company would be more convienent but I don't know how much I would like the job.

 

Yea but this is why asking off in advance is a thing. So your company knows whats coming and can make it work while your away. Mike does this EVERY time he come out. Does his boss like it? Hell no. But they deal with it and then love him all the more when he comes back.

Well..that is true. All i know is the Windys are probably the coolest place to back pack into..wish i could do a trip to the Cirque for a week.

But Grangville sounds cool.

stressing at work a bit. Keep booking shows we are under equipped and under staffed for. Just gotta make it work. Just found out that we have a concert right in the middle of dress rehearsals for a play...who the fuck made that call idk but i'd like to kill them.
