@Mobtown Offroad , @ramonortiz55 - wasn't powdercoating for all three skids originally $150USD? I see I was charged $200 and that's what the first post says, but I could have sworn it was $150 originally... ?

It's probably because some ppl thought powder coat would be discounted for the GB. $200 - 25% = $150. But as the OP states, powder coat is not subject to the discount.

    That's my theory anyway.

when i first posted the OP/group buy, i had misquoted the powder cost. mobtown called me out on it and i fixed it. i think that's what you're talking about.

to prevent the issue from happening again, i had mobtown proofread my OP for the slider GB before posting it.

I see. That must be it.

In the future, notifying folks that had already committed would be a good idea, as not everyone will revisit the original post and notice the update. $50 is not the end of the world, but a bit of an unexpected "surprise."

That price did seem too good to be true, that's why I jumped on it. I would normally just spray, but for $150...

@Mobtown Offroad is there any way to pull my skids out of the powder coating line? I was the first person to post in this thread (after @ramonortiz55 of course), I never felt I needed to go back and reread the OP because of a price change... $150 was a stretch for me in the first place, especially for skid plates which will undoubtedly be beaten to hell anyway. I understand it was just an oversight and I definitely don't want this message read as me complaining or trying to shame anyone, this stuff happens. its just $200 is more then I can justify right now... So if it's not too late, Just send them out to me bare. If it is too late... well, it is what it is. it's not the end of the world and I'll live. Thanks guys, sorry to be a pain

I will call the powder coater. They might not have run them yet. I will let you know. I don't have anyone else that ordered what you ordered.
