Hey man, read about your blown diff from a while back. Too many pages in here to find any info though haha. What's the status on that? Looked like you need a new clamshell, but I have a carrier if you need one.

    Yea major explosion! haha

    Cracked the whole housing.

Thank you so much for the offer! My good buddy Josh @shipps gave me his old diff. The entire thing. Plan on having someone install the gears in it and ARB in it too. Been eyeing the Harrops but not sure i wanna do that. Hoping the Tax refund will be able to cover some of it maybe. Need to get the diff fix so i can enjoy the truck for the summer and concentrate on getting the blower to work..or rip it off.

Yeah bummer about the blower too. When it rains it pours I guess. I just got my SC on, still working on tuning it, so I don't really know what I'm doing yet lol. Good luck on getting that sorted out.

A little fuel here, a little timing there. The aic/timing calibrator seems to have it ~90% there, just needs some tweaks for the 2.2" pulley and a little pinging at high load low rpm.
Have you tried running it with no piggyback?

No. i wish i had done an adapter harness. I'll do one if i swap it to my 2003 truck. But i have unpluged the injector and it didn't do anything.

I've hard wired in the piggyback. So can't really unplug it. Would be a good test though. Maybe i'll buy the adapter harness and put my stock on back together if redoing the knock sensors and O2 sensors dont do it.

I've got the 2.1'' pulley too due to elevation. Should be the same as your 2.2'' or close.

It seems like if your sensors are all working correctly, the most obvious problem is the piggyback itself. I was going to add in a plug to mine so I could easily take it out if necessary, but didn't end up doing that.
I'd be curious what would happen if you took the piggyback out. Kind of a pain but might be very telling.

I'll give that a go first for sure. Maybe do it during spring break.

    Edit:

Shit our friends at CX racing are at it again.. motor mounts AND headers that look like they clear just fine.

This just became a hell of a lot more appealing for me..

Damn dude nice find! I knew cx had a kit but I hadn't looked at it and I also didn't know the exhaust packaging was such an issue so this is really reassuring but I don't see a turbo manifold on there .

I'm still trying to track down a suitable transplant candidate. I have way too many needs. I'm on CL literally twice daily looking for that sweet, sweet, black, 4 door, grey interior, high miles/blown motor unicorn

yea no turbo, and the Y pipe is useless for 4wd applications. Have to be custom after that.

But still..headers..makes the swap all the better. They have a nice looking oil pan too but no idea if it'll clear a diff as their truck was 2wd.

and with an LS there are tons of different supercharger options as well. Probably have to do custom headers for a turbo.

Not sure if the bellhousing kit is worth it. Still think doing an NV4500 and a Dana 20 Tcase would be better. Then slap in an FJZ80 rear axle and 2nd gen front diff and you're good to go. It's only money right?

That said...looking at CX racings turbo kit for a 4.8/5.3...may be easier to fit...

    http://www.cxracing.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=92_619_2219&product_id=2351

edit: Never mind. Not 4wd compatible. Though may fit our trucks...ill let you test that out though.
