In the market for an AT tire for my 17 TRD Sport LB. I do a small amount of off road driving but mostly hunting trails and bush runs....nothing too aggresive. I am looking for an AT tire that is the quietest on highway since 90% of my driving is there. I had Toyo Open Country AT2 on my 2012 TRD and honestly found them louder than I'd like but was wondering if it was possibly the truck or a bad tire. I seem to have a howl from the right rear. I liked the tires otherwise but was wondering what AT tire options I've got for a somewhat aggressive look but relatively quiet. The online tire reviews are useless since their all over the place? BF? Cooper? Toyo? Thanks.

Look into Cooper ST MAXX they are a great tire for a AT. They are very quiet

In the winter I run Cooper AT/W (E-load, 285/70R16) and in the summer I run KO2s (C-load, 33x12.5/15). Huge fan of the two of them, super quiet for their size.

I've done quite a bit of off road and winter driving with them, as well as 100mph on the autobahn. They work.

I have cooper at3's as my winter tire, and they are pretty smooth and fairly quiet. They are c-load, the wet and dry traction is awesome. I have done some light gas well road stuff, and had no problems with them.

I see you are in Ottawa, so decent winter performance is also a factor unless you do a seasonal swap. I have DuraTracs, and find them to be an excellent tire. They are a bit louder than the stock OR tire, but certainly not excessively so considering how aggressive the tread pattern is. These tires are also very good in snow. My 0.02

I'm about to buy my third set of Cooper AT3s. Quietest all terrain tire I've ever had.

Yes in Ottawa. I have Toyo Observe for winters. My Toyo At were the P rates as I didn't want or need a stiffer tire. I also thought that they might be a bit more quiet.
I'm starting to think I might have had a bad tire. My winters were quieter than the AT's

I've read reviews of the new Kuhmo Road Venture AT 51 and most say it is quiet and great in snow, but not the best for off roading.

My duratracs got super loud to the point of sounding like a MT tire after about half tread wore off. I'm currently running BFG Ko2 and they've been quiet so far.

I recently replaced the factory Toyo Open Country M/S tires with larger Toyo Open Country A/T II's and their as quite as the stock tires. Their a good looking tire and I'm very happy with how they ride and handle, and they got good reviews and are a lot cheaper than some of the other A/T out there.

I run goodyear duratrac on my sport and love them.they are quiet for an aggressive tread and great in the snow and wet traction.

The TRD Offroad tires Goodyear Adventure with Kevlar is an all terrain tire and the quietest I have ever owned. I've had Duratracs, KO2s, Goodyear MTR among others. Here's a pro tip: if it looks really cool it probably isn't going to save you any gas mileage and certainly won't be very quiet. To say the Duratrac are quiet compared to the Goodyear adventure with Kevlar is just crazy talk or they have not driven and compared the two. Don't get me wrong the DuraTrac is a great Tire but it is not for someone that is only going off-road occasionally and drives mostly on Road. That's really not what the Duratrac is designed to do best

Revo2's or ATKOs are super quiet I reckon

This is what I was hoping to hear. I really like the Toyo At Open Country but if they were going to howl like the last time I wasn't interested. I can accept slightly louder but they were too loud. I also like the way they were just slightly aggressive looking but not overly.
