Looking to chg the rear diff oil on my 2012 prerunner. The nut looks huge and I know I don't have that size.
Does anyone know what size ratchet I need ?
    Thanks

While you're at the store, pick up caliper, that way next time you need to find a socket size (or anything else for that matter), you can just measure it. They're cheap, should be about $10 for a mechanical dial, $15 for digital.

And make sure when you go to break those fill/drain plugs loose (especially the fill plug on the rear diff) that you square up the socket on the bolt. The bolt head is really shallow, so it's easy to get it at an angle and ruins the corners on the bolt head.

A couple of good raps with a hammer (going for shock, not force) on the head can also help break it free without needing to apply undue torque (potentially risking the head).

I prefer a 1/2" ratchet, but you can get away with using a 3/8" ratchet.

Read the header under my name. Do I seem like the kind of guy that's going to let a potential genital joke go unnoticed?

Perhaps not, but that doesn't mean that you are incapable of offering relevant and useful input in addition to that.
