Opinions Wanted: What do you think of the TRD air filter and is it better than K & N? I have a 2015 TRD Sport

I doubt that there is .00001% CFM flow difference between the two - drop in panel filters. I don't think one is better than the other.

I will never run an oiled air filter on my truck unless its very short term for testing and the maf sensor is immediately cleaned.

its a Toyota truck and that's all the modifications needed
I had the TRD performance air filter for my 3.4l v6, its definetly built way better than the K&N, I think the AFE company makes the TRD filter and brands it TRD. I used it for a lot of years and got tired of recleaning and oiling, went back to paper filters.
