Why do people remove the overload prior to installing AAL?

    I've read some posts where people keep the overload in so was wondering what the pros/cons are of going each route.

    I'm sure there are probably a dozen threads about this but I did a quick search and didn't see this specifically asked.

    People remove the overload to adjust the ride height and also get more travel in the spring.

    People leave the overload in to carry more weight to have a little bit more ride height

    Believe it will ride stiff/harsh/bouncy in the rear with overload left in and not carrying a load.

    Another con is 10% loss in payload without the overload leaf.
