Oh I get it. But I actually ordered through Pickup Specialties (a vendor listed on Wilco's website) because I wanted to order somethings from them for a work truck as well. I wonder if @ewxlt66 would just put the discounted amount towards a Hilift mount for mine? I'd like to order one. @ewxlt66 could you send me a PM if this works? I can give you my order# from PS if you would like to verify I just ordered one. THANKS!

I used a crowbar and a big hammer and ripped the lock end off of the hitch pin.

Just don't want to ruin the powdercoating, if I do it will rust in days on the East Coast

Can always cover surfaces with a few layers of duct tape for protection against marring the finish

I wouldn't mind trying one of these on my 4Runner.

Kinda sucks, never seen one except in this thread.

I think he has the market for 4Runner's established already, also almost $900. Woof woof. Wouldn't mind getting my ticklers on them up close and personal.

For $600 more I'd get a swing out with a steel bumper included. So, I dunno.

Just don't use a locking hitch pin

    Serious.

I think I spent $25 on mine, and I had it on for 4 months before I tried to remove it, then did so with a hammer and crow bar. After that I couldn't imagine going and getting another one. Went to HF and bought their hitch pin with a cotter pin for $4 and have used it ever since.

Granted I don't have $900 hanging out of my receiver.. at that point I guess locking is the only way to go.
