Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I haven't found one yet. I want to stop back into a few stores and feel the bags a bit. A buddy is gonna bring out a Midway Competition bag tomorrow and let me finger fuck it as well.

Uh, I'm afraid if I tried that with my wife, she would agree she should have gone with bigger.

Someone showed me this one day and it helped me a lot. Use your off hand for a tight grip and focus more on on your trigger pull with your main hand.

The brackets arrived today. They are very rugged & seem very well made. Got the 3/4" conduit cut to 5' and 2x4's cut to 42". They initially seemed a little tall once all assembled, but I think once I add the targets & chain, they'll be just right. Picked up some of those rubber furniture/chair feet and they fit perfectly on the conduit. Since I shoot mostly in gravel pits, it'll keep the dirt & gravel out of the end. Now I'm deciding whether to paint the legs black or leave as is. My practical side says "leave as is", but my mild OCD side is saying "paint black".

The day after I turned 21, I sent in my Form 1 to the ATF to get my AR registered as a SBR. That was August 2005, and it was approved April 2006. No sooner than just after I married in 2007, my ex... uh... 'suggested' that I sell it since I didn't shoot it much. Sold off everything except the stripped lower receiver that I've been sitting on until now. Nearly 10 years.

Circa May 2006. 5.56 10.5" LMT upper and collapsible stock, Knights Armament 2-piece quad rail.

All the parts finally arrived today. Essentially rebuilding it as a .300 Blackout 9.5" Griffin Armament upper with a Troy Tomahawk short stock/BCG among other goodies.

Returning to the good life. The pew pew life.

Serious question (remember I'm a n00b) - How often do you clean your handgun?

Say you go to the range every week (once a week)... Do you clean it after every shooting? Do you clean it after every few shootings?

    Thanks in advance

Depends on the type of gun I would say, and also personal preference. I clean my guns after every range session. Also, if you are ever going to carry concealed NEVER carry a dirty gun...that could put you in a bad situation if you were ever in an altercation. Hard to claim you never pulled the trigger if your weapon is coated in powder and carbon.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I have a Springfield XDM 4.5" 9mm. So far I have cleaned it after every range session but just wanted to know if that was excessive.

As for concealed carry... I live in the Republic of Maryland and as of now unless you are a LEO or business owner.. You can't CC.

Ah man sorry to hear that about Maryland...but yeah I don't think you can over clean if your using the right products. I try to steer clear of heavy solvents. Personally, I just use some Hoppes on the barrel once I've scrapped all that carbon buildup out, shouldn't be a problem if you clean your gun regularly.

For the rest of the gun, do yourself a favor and buy a tub of this https://www.amazon.com/Slide-Glide-...d=1487947020&sr=8-1&keywords=enos+slide+glide
This stuff is amazing, keeps everything super lubed and traps a lot of that carbon and powder residue so when you clean it all comes out together. I use it in all of my competition 1911's and its a total game changer.

    Depends on the guns.

Pistols i shoot fairly often - Whenever i get around to it and feel like it. Usually ends up being between 500-1000 rounds. Some have gone longer and some have gone less.

Rifles I shoot fairly often - When accuracy starts to take a hit. Or i get around to it. Usually ends up being around 200 rounds on the precision guns and 200-500 on the others.

Pistols and Rifles I dont shoot often - If shooting corrosive ammo its right after the range. If not then usually within a few days of the range trip and then back to "storage" they go.

I dont get your reasoning for never carrying a dirty gun....so only carry clean guns incase some random guy is shot so you can prove you didnt shot him?

Every carry gun/home defense gun/truck gun i have will be dirty. After cleaning they get 50 rounds through them to ensure nothing was assembled/damaged during cleaning before going "back in service".
