    Hello ladies and gentlemen.

After almost a year of waiting I was finally able to pick up my first Toyota a couple days ago. I've been planning this build and slowly collecting parts over the last year in anticipation of my return home so I can build this sucker.

    First impression of the truck:

Coming from a 2010 F-150 that was built with mid travel, a little over 350hp to the rear wheels and base model options I was extremely impressed. I wasn't expecting to win drag races in this truck and knew that from the get go. However, the power isn't bad. After I am finished with my build I expect it to be pretty tame on the highway and fun when I want to go fast off-road.

    What I have so far:

    2017 TRD DCSB OR 4x4
    Premium and Tech
All weather mats and door sill protectors, no other options

    Mods so far:
    - Clazzio triple black seat covers
    - Icon Stage 4 w/ Headstrong leafs
-16x8 0mm offers RRW wheels in Bronze
    - 285/75/16 Cooper AT3

    Future Mods:
    - 4.88 gears
    - subwoofer

Here's a couple of pictures from yesterday. Will update when the lift and tires go back on. By the way, my stock wheels and tires are for sale!

    Update 5 MAR 2017:

Finished cranking the coils for now. I put the LF at 1.75" of thread showing and RF at 1.5" of collar showing. Truck sits level at 23" hub to fender up front and 23.5" hub to fender in the rear. Getting an alignment done and hopefully going to try to race down a dirt road at some point today before I detail the outside.

Also, the factory non-JBL stereo is garbage. My wife's Hyundai Tucson puts it to shame. Probably the next thing on my list of things to do is OEM audio package or building my own setup.

Will update with finished pictures after she's detailed this afternoon.

    UPDATE: 7 June 17

After 6000 miles the engine is finally starting to wake up. I drive in ECT mode most of the time and I am averaging 17.5 mpg driving about 35/65 city/hwy. I am pretty darn happy with this trucks performance. Offroad has been great. It's hard to get used to all terrain tires and how they react in the dirt. My Toyo MT gave me really good control of my slides and turning when going fast in the dirt. The Cooper AT3 is the best tire all around I've ever had. Great in mud, snow and loose dirt. No hydroplaning on wet roads at all. The Icons ride pretty hard on the road. It's like a sports car. Rides bad when cruising but when you need it to perform you don't care because it works so well. I was going 70 over some washed out sand beds the other day and jumped it a few feet and it was a Cadillac.

The only thing I really want is a way to tune this truck myself.

We have the same truck. You have accomplished more in one day of ownership than I have in 1.5 years.

Only person who needs to win drag races with a truck is a rebel/lightning or farm truck... all of them are entertaining but mildly comical.

Or a race truck. I wish I could build one, but sadly the performance aftermarket isn't supporting it yet.

Haha. It helps that I've been stacking up parts while I was out of the country. I had a plan and I honestly can't drive a stock truck.
