Correct me if I am wrong but wouldn't the oil for the k&n filters gunk up the maf over time causing more problems?

I have used K&N in the past for many years and never had a problem if you follow the directions like Red Man said. I usually have a spare that I set up and keep on hand; that way I can change it and do the cleaning/oiling at my leisure. This gives it plenty more f time to S dry some, etc.

I tried the k and n and there was a performance boost but it was too loud for me so I sold it. Then I got just the trd filter, gas mileage, sound and performance was unchanged. Then I added the whole trd intake with the same filter now engine sounds great feels a little faster and looks awesome. Get one if you got a little money to spend on your truck 20170130_165253.jpg

I put the TRD intake system on and have no regrets. Sounds good, feels good at throttle, and I experienced no loss in mileage. Around town I get around 17 +/- 1 depending on how I drive. At 65 I normally get over 20mpg, but I drive around 80 at times with traffic flow and drop 1-2. I have no regrets and recommend the TRD CAI.

I do not own a pro but I am confident it does not come with the performance intake. The pro does come with the TRD exhaust stock.
