Burnt a bunch of short and broken or weird shaped 1x8 , wanted to keep the nails inside

The plywood leaning up is so we wouldn't melt the cast in styrofoam

These guys have a pretty good youtube series on building a shed. Both a "normal" style and a "lean" (roof) style. This is a link to part 1 of the normal style.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXyLx0XVp58

But makes a nice simple shed.

When i built mine (a 12x16) I build it on blocks instead of rails. Used 2x8's for the floor joists. I did two layers of plywood, but it also stores heavy items. 16" center studs vs 24" (its seriously only a few bucks more if doing a "stud" height build). Used T1-11 for the siding.

Depending on size requirements I'd go for what you can build with the least waste. IE doing a 8x12 the floor would be three sheets of wood and not need to be cut. Same with siding if using T1-11 wouldnt require cutting (other than for doors/windows)

Anyone ever converted a (natural) gas range to LP? I just learned that new ranges ship ready for natural and you have to put the LP conversion on...

Holy fuckthatshit. I don't ever want to do that again.

New appliances are arriving. Cabinetry will be done in the summer. But for now, paint can't dry fast enough!

Floor was nasty as shit. Apparently previous owner never cleaned there. I hadn't til now (a year) anticipating the kitchen reno...

Some jurisdictions require a gasfitter to do the conversion

    Did you get it converted?
I use tape on my metric nut driver to hold the Jets and be careful not to strip them. Done several. Not too bad just take your time. Some models have a certain size of jet for certain burners.

@Rakso I second this. I used this as a starting point but ended up building my own plans with bigger door and window. Also used deck blocks instead of rails. 2x8 on 16" centers is the way to go and worth the extra $$. Also, as you build it make sure to go with full 8' tall walls. So many of these manufactured ones only have 7ft walls and many plans suggest the same.
