This is my first taco so no manual ones before that :p I've had a few cars I would daily that were stick but I drove in the city and got tired of it. I knew what went there because Mario over at @ragofabrication told me when he sent me over their relay bracket holder. I thought that was the coolest tidbit of information I ever got from a Tacoma so I tell everyone about it :p The people that make RTMR panel sometimes don't know what went there either until they get a manual truck in their shop. On the other side its something for the vacuum stuff I think. Its the reason why I can't have a dual battery setup in my truck and use the @Iggy panel.

Not in mine. That reservoir is apart of the brake fluid reservoir.

Does it really matter what they are "for", or does it matter more what they could be for?

Mine is a manual. The clutch's reservoir is shared with the brake fluid. The division wall is visible in the picture. Towards the front of the reservoir.
