Just waiting to see how many teeth Warren is missing

I'm betting at 2 on the pinion and 4 on the ring gear

Originally not Expo AF! Kinda Expo AF now...lame.
Got back from Marble Falls last night, and 2 things:

    1. I did much much better getting around. I even helped some lost people find their way out.
    2. That MXT100 radio is now being replaced with a MXT105 and it's $99. It's basically the same radio, but it adds weather bands too, that's it. Everyone should consider one of these, it was incredibly useful for the 6 hour drive both ways and riding the park. If $99 is too expensive, you can find the MXT90 (which is a wal-mart and ebay only version, exactly the same as the MXT100, but I bought one for my wife's 4Runner for $59. Can't beat that with a stick.

I'll post a pic later of it mounted. Once I put on a better antenna like Jake did my setup will be rocking. Also, it uses the same connectors PL-259 and SO-239 as HAM radios, so if you want HAM for distance and GMRS for clarify and simplicity, you could technically run 1 antenna, as long as it's tuned to the right freq. If you wanted to run both at the same time, 2 antennas would be needed.

I'm working on figuring out what reducers work with RG-58 and RG-59 cables (UG-175 and UG-176 respectively) so I can make my own tips so I can run the cable without cutting large holes in my truck.

    The MXT units use 462Mhz
