I cut out a round piece of tape and put in the keyhole before doing the plastidip. Don't have to use the key so worked good.

I found that Plastidip really holds onto dirt and it was a pain to get them clean looking again, Is there a trick im missing? I dipped my motorcycle rims and they just always looked filthy

Plastidip has another product called Glossifier. Spray it like a finish coat.

Very cool !! Did you take the wheels out to get them painted? Or did you paint them on the truck? Excellent idea in the red calipers!!

I'm done with plastidip. Took my badges off, painted them and then put them back on. No more scratching at my truck with a toothpick, no more peeling, and looks great.

I'm guessing not well. The only way you can do that with Plastidip is put on a few heavy coats and peel off the masking while it's still wet or take a razor blade to the edges before unmasking after it's fully cured, otherwise the Plastidip will come off with the masking.

Not good, manofsteel is right. Plastidip kept kept coming off with the masking tape. I had to remove it and start all over again doing the whole wheel.

You're right, I figure the razor blade was going to work because I tried it before the plastidip on the tape, but as trying it after was a bitch. Gave up and did whole wheels.
