So these wheels are 285/75/16. Stock third gens are 265/65/17. I don't really care about the tires. Really interested in the wheels. Any input on if these would fit on a third gen? I tried searching through the endless threads here and found some good info, but nothing specifically what I am looking for. Neighbor has a tire shop and suggested trying to put one on the truck. Just curious if anyone had any experience here. Obviously, I have none haha. I may just buy them and sell them if they don't fit.

 

Wheels will fit, tires will not unless you lift it.

 

Thanks. I just want a second set of wheels for winter. Or after I paint them up maybe I'll run them all the time and sell my current wheels. All wheels in the ad have the tpms sensors too, so $200 seems like a real good deal. Didn't want to miss out.

 

TPMS sensors won't work for your 2016 and you'll also need to buy tires. You can't use your tires off your 17" wheels on a 16" wheel. 3" lift is required to run the 285 tires and you'd also need a wheel spacer for upper control arm clearance. Basically look at these as wheels only and plan on buying new tires and TPMS sensors to complete the package.

Not true, you can fit with trimming and maybe spacers for the UCA's

Not for me. I didn't spend 40k to cheap out on my lift and half ass it.

 

i wouldn't say anything on my truck is half assed but cuts had to be made haha. i think the quote of the day right before the first cut was "you ready?" "i just met you, but i trust you"
