Dynatrac ProRock 60 Rear Axle, that is important enough.
Mine does pretty well, I also keep some molle pouches so that I can either carry more or carry less depending on what I am going to be doing. It has straps on the side to help compress it some.

Thanks for the brand recommendations. I checked out their websites and they don't appear to offer as much as I'm seeing on that Mystery Ranch assault pack. Those packs in the smaller sizes are missing either molle or exterior pockets.

Did a short ovenighter in the Sam Houston National Forest to check out some new gear. I love my new Osprey Aether 60. Its so much more comfortable than any pack I've ever used. Also used my little cheap Ozark Trail 1 man tent. Best $25 I've ever spent. The North Face Cats Meow works a little too well for the temperatures we have in central Texas. The only downer was the Therm-a-Rest Evolite sleeping pad. First time I've ever used it and it would not hold air. It goes back to REI tomorrow.

You may like this one then: http://www.lapolicegear.com/lapg-operator-backpack.html

It clocks in at 2920 cubic inches (~48L) which is more than the other packs mentioned, and has many pockets and compartments for organization (probably my favorite thing about this bag) with plenty of molle. And it's only $50! I own it and I am very happy with it. I did an overnighter with it last weekend where I hiked 7.5 miles to my campsite. I was carrying about 25 lbs of gear. It was very comfortable.

I'd definitely contact Marmot directly (in a polite & courteous manner of course) with that issue (send pics). They're a good company and I'd guess they'd want to make it right.

So here are mine. They both have a slight arch shape. I'm thinking this is intentional as they're both identical. I did have to turn one section (toward the end) to avoid/undo the "S" shape. I can see how this could be a challenge setting up in dark/low light conditions if those arches need to be positioned facing down.

Mine had a slight bend in one of them if I recall. I was a little alarmed but it seemed to work fine.

I would think those bends would be fine and would align correctly when the poles are set into the tent feet.
    Here is Campsaver reply.

Ha, I read the hours wrong.
    CS M-F
    Retail store M-S.

Each time I emailed them, I left my phone number to call, and no call.
Now, I have to wait the weekend, and I have a camping trip scheduled soon. Damn!!
