So I got my fabtech 3inch lift this week and installed it yesterday. I'm not a mechanic nor have all the right tools for most of the jobs I do but always seem to get it done. Took me 6 hours to install and hardest part was replacing front end of lift. Not having spring clamping tool is effing dangerous. I've done replace springs and shocks on many cars so I figured how to replace them with out the clapping tool. But still I recommend getting one. Which I'm finally am.

Just an FYI, you can go to most Kragen or O'Reilly auto part stores and rent tools FOR FREE. spring compressors, ball joint presses, you name it, they probably have it.

Basically you put a deposit on the tool, and when you return it the deposit doesn't get charged.
