I think pot luck might be the way to go if it happens. He's got a lot on his plate as it is, hosting the event would be great on its own. If he wants to add to the pot luck with some of his BBQ that's awesome, but that would relieve some pressure off him for sure.
Hmmmm now just to hammer down a date and let's put this sucker on the calendar!

I'm down for whatever!!! Although, May 20th I am graduating with my Masters degree so I won't be able to make it If it's on that day. I wouldn't be able to make it the 3rd or the 4th either. As of now those are the only dates I can't do. But obviously don't plan things around me. I would like to be at this event though!

My idea yes but the ball is rolling by many other members. I put the bug in people's ears and it has gone full swing, if the date changes then maybe it will work.

Hold your horses Rick, those were the first dates suggested. Let's throw some more dates out here before we make any more decisions.

I don't see anybody trying to take over anything, If other dates are mentioned and it works I am in. If not than there will be more meets.

    It's Taco time
Ok wow, First thing i feel bad as i amnot trying to steel the show here or hack on ricks meet. Im sure we can fiq a date that works for most. Maybe someone can set up one of those votes at the top of screen type things. ( lol i know how to do nothing besides post on this site)The only other day that doesnt work for me that i hadnt prev mentioned is july 17. as for food, if im gunna fire up the smoker im going to make enough food for an army. Always do a great pulled pork . We Also have the grill so it would be nothing to throw burgers and doggies on there. I honestly dont mind providing the food as those item would not be a big expense to me. As for a rig cost/entry fee i dont think that is necessary,if anybody would like do do the donation thing ALTHOUGH NOT NECESSARY i do have link were donations can be made. The way j see it im bassically just hosting a tacoma world party . What i would say is maybe if my sliders get here on time you could help with the install on said date. (Just bolt ons from sos) So again i am not savy on this site so if someone eh hem mach man or anyone at that that knows what there doing wants to take charge of setting this up you all know what dates work for me. Im def thinking a saturday would be the best day for most?

Nobody is hacking anything, or stealing anyone's show. All I did was suggest another Mass Meet, and never said I was hosting or in charge of anything. All I have said so far is that the dates mentioned don't work for me, it's not the end of the world if I am busy and miss it. People are talking about it being at one's house so obviously this would be better than a Parking Lot like last year, so it should be what is convenient for the Homeowner of whose house it is at. Not trying to stir anything up or cause issues, so to make things easier and not have to worry about dates, times etc etc etc. I am out of this so whoever wants to grab the ball go for it. Unsubbed

Do we want to get feedback from others? Maybe we should start spreading the word?

I think we need to widen the net, throw some links to this thread in the BS, wheeling, and FS threads and get some quality feedback. Once we have some decent dates suggested we could throw a poll at the top like someone suggested earlier.

I'd be pumped to help install sliders, a lift, and a bumper. Sounds super fun.

I should be available on the weekends in may or june.
