I am in for a set of bypass shocks. Secondary hoops go in next week so this is great timing.

I only want to lift the front of my 2017 dcblb or 4x4 1 inch, no lift in the back. Will the stock UCA's clear the King shocks, or do I till need new UCA's.

From my understanding through my call with King, you can use your stock UCA's with the standard length shocks. That will have no problem leveling your truck. I may have a 2nd gen, but I see no reason why it wouldn't apply to a 3rd gen too.

Along with Tiki's question, if I got the OEM replacements, then later got UCA's, would the fronts still work, or would I need to get a different pair? I've noticed most others offer the same setups in either standard or extended length. Is this the same with King? My internet is crappy where I'm at, so I can't really search DSMS's website to answer this question.

OEM Kings will work w/either stock or aftermarket UCA. But extended shocks are a no-go with stock UCA.

Can the kings be rebuilt like the other brands and turned into extended travel? I've read that Icon/Fox standards can have a piece simply removed inside to make them extended travel.

If not, I might just get extended Kings in the front, fox 2.0s in the rear, and snag some JBA UCAs with the savings on the difference between fox rears and King rears.

Yes they can be. But the price you pay to have rebuilt to do that you might as well get the extended in he beginning b/c the prices are the same between the standard and extended.

Thanks. Wasn't sure if the Kings were done that way. Hoping I can get back to some better internet in the next day or two, and scan DSMS website.
