Yep. I understand wheel travel, and understood your post. I listed my usable wheel travel spec a few posts up for comparison. I too am running 11" stroke shock in factory location.

It would seem that way from reading a few articles on the subject.

I like whips, Larsen NMO27B. Great build quality.

I have an mounting point on the front corner of my bumper, Would you say 6' would be able to clear the cab and give it enough room to do its job?

A 6' would be great. I have a 3' there on a spring and it does alright. My 4' was better there. But it broke and I had the 3' around so it does just fine. Now that my focus is on HAM my CB will only be for close group conversation on trails.

I, too, am shifting to HAM. Far better performance than CBs. And handhelds are more affordable than a decent CB set up

This, I have a 6' on both trucks and they work great.

Not shifting from one or another but maintaining both as I want to be able to communicate with people that are new to wheeling and off-road travel as well as my mates.

    A little a this, a little a that...
    Any suggestions on camp cookware?

All the stuff I've seen with collapsible/removable handles is on the small side. I have a family of four and need good sized pots and pans so I usually just pack my regular stuff from home, but they are not very convenient to pack. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks!

Not the least expensive but we really like our Magma nesting cookware. You can add the accessory strainer and wok to the works and it will still pack together neatly. They come with one removeable handle but I'd suggest ordering a second if you have more than one burner on your cook surface.

Remove fixed handles from cookware of choice and use vice grips (1 or 2), plain or with the deluxe insulated grips.

Love it. ONE of my future mods for sure. One question, is this just a direct bolt-on application, or is there any sort of "clocking" involved? Sorry, have never really messed with DS before. Thanks

Dynatrac ProRock 60 Rear Axle, that is important enough.
I have a 4ft Firestick mounted on the back... works damn good with the snugtop as well.

However, I am going towards HAM and already have a handheld and will still keep the CB for people that don't have CB, but going to pour more money into HAM setup.

Yeah I have CB and will be throwing HAM in as well. I think CB is more common so it is nice to be able to talk across both.
If I ever go full plate on my bumper, I want those fill plates under their headlights. I don't know who makes them though.

Technically it's suspension articulation. As the suspension articulates, the wheel travels vertically in the wheel well. No it's not a perfectly vertical line. However on our trucks the generally accepted metric is to measure from fender lip to center wheel hub. Which is how I do it. :)

I don't know what you know about SUA.

What are your thoughts on TC's travel numbers listed on their website for their kit?

They take up space and are heavy, but I love cast iron cookware! I've got a whole collection of Lodge just for camping.
