Excuse my face. Eyes were closed and didn't look to great. Got it top water at one of the hardest lakes I've every fished at. The largie population is barley anything. The spots are taking over. I catch about 100 spots to every largemouth at this place. It's fun when you get on a good bite but other then that it sucks. IMG_20170215_121217.jpg

what did you catch that one on? Looks like that pond would do good with frog lures or poppers as well...

A Texas rigged pink twirl tail worm. Its clear and fairly shallow with lots of vegetation so the Texas rig worked well. Poppers would definitely be good here too, will probably try that next time.

Bull Redfish, swallowed the hook and couldn't remove it from its gut :( Wanted to release it but chances of a survival were minimal. Caught in the surf, 10.5' Temple Fork rod, Garcia 6500 Blue Yonder, 20lb mono, cut mullet. 45 min battle!

Nice. Are those good eating? They look very similar to freshwater drum.

Many folks consider freshwater drum "trash fish", but I enjoy catching and eating them.
