Tried posting in the tire section but didn't see response.

Just looking for any opinions out there (and really didn't find a lot of info with a google search). Kelly edge AT 245/75r16 - looking to get these installed this weekend and just wondering what your thoughts about there tires are. I do some light off roaring up here in Maine and also a lot of highway driving. Any input on these would be much appreciated! (Truck is 100% stock right now, including the crappy dealership tires).

Was going to stick with the stock size at 245/75r16. Really don't know a whole lot about the tire side of things. Was first looking at firestone destinations but am leaning towards the Kelly's.

I've never had the Kelly's, but the Destinations are awesome in my opinion. We install a lot of them at the dealership I work at and have had no complaints. I had them on my 2008 Taco and plan on using them on my 14 when the current tires need replacing.

I really like the BF Goodrich KO2s, size 265/75/16 for stock, looks beefy and doesn't rub.
(Picture has bilstein 5100s at .85, but I had the same size tires before that and didn't have any problems)

Mine also came stock with 245s.
    265-75-16 will fit without modifications.
I was worried it wouldn't fit. Even tire shops around here didn't think it'd fit.
    Tacomaworld.com was right

I would stick with the 245s if you're doing a lot of highway driving.

Was really debating this morning what to do. Ended up with the Kelly's and so far (only a couple miles) seem like they're doing alright. They (of course) look much better than the crappy stock tires and the treads don't seem to be too much louder. Also with the stock tires being so bald if I gave it any gas on snow/water/ice, traction control would kick in - new tires seem to really prevent that from happening.

Think you made a good choice. I went with replacement 245's (Michelin) and noticed a great improvement, particularly in the wet, and generally, you are better off in snow with a narrower tire.

I'm going to be replacing my stock tires sometime this year. I was thinking about the cooper at3's though. I'm 99% high way too, but want the ability to go anywhere. I'm interested how the Kelly's hold up.

    Same as everybody else...
I have the Firestone Destination A/T on my truck and have no complaints. We don't get as much snow as you get there but we get enough, no worries in snow, mud or gravel. My only gripe is the tires pickup a lot of gravel in the tread. I can't answer about the Kelly, just my two ducats about the Firestones. Good luck with your choice

Update: driven the truck quite a bit. I'll say this is my first 4wd truck...I thought it was completely useless in 2wd with the stock tires. Traction was aweful and traction control was kicking in way too often. Been driving around in solid rain/mud/snow with the new Kelly's and seriously impressed. Haven't seen/felt the traction kick in and they seem to grip extremely well in the rain I'm currently in.

What size at3'so are you running? I'm looking at the 265 70 r17's on my stock everything '15 trd sport and was wondering if there would be any rubbing?
