How's it going my healthy living peeps?

Been a bit quiet in this thread. I'm behaving and maintaining, how about others?

It's the weekend, so I'm not expecting perfect behavior from you all, myself included.

I got a hockey game to go to tomorrow afternoon. I'm not gonna feel a bit guilty for having a beer and pizza. I earned it.

    Enjoy

I haven't dialed in for a while, I hope things are going well for everyone. I struggled with the mutha of all head and chest colds for the past 10 days but feel pretty good now, still not 100 percent.
The weather here has been great so I'm doing less gym time and more bike riding and running.
I'm heading to Mexico next week, God knows how that's gonna work
    Y'all keep pushing...

Haven't been eating super clean lately but I'm out of town so it makes it a little more difficult.
Burned some calories today though, played 4 games of volleyball with some friends and worked about 5 hours cutting and hauling brush with my cousin.
I'm gonna enjoy moving up here and doing tree trimming/brush work on a regular basis.

    Anyone home?

Been doing my usual. About 5 miles every other day on the treadmill. Incline set at #3, whatever that means. All I know is its supposed to be uphill and the machine credits me with just over 5oo calories.

Haven't been on the scale in a while. I have access to 4 different scales that are supposedly calibrated monthly. They all read different! The 2 in the gym are not even close!

I wish I wasn't married to a 110 lbs woman that can eat anything she wants and gains no weight. The bitch of it is she is an awesome cook as well.

    I'm still here, kinda.
Between work and school i literally have no time to workout, last week I got my assignments turned in 3 hours before they were due and went to bed right after I submitted them.
This week will finish up midterms so maybe I'll have a little time open up after that.

I haven't been eating well at all, a bunch of anniversaries and birthdays in the past 2 weeks, but I still managed to lose 2 lbs in the last 2 weeks and my pants are getting looser.

Talked to a local LEO last night at dinner about getting in shape for the academy, he gave me a few ideas so I'm gonna switch up my routine a little (When it starts back up), warm up on the treadmill for 20 minutes, do X (undetermined) rounds of pushups, squats, tricep dips, jumping jacks, and planks and then do another 20 minutes on the treadmill.
On the treadmill I'll pick a pace that I can hold for 20 minutes and work up from there.

A plan is a good thing to have. I've never been able to be that organized.

Presently on the hunt for some noise blocking BT ear buds. I like watching movies on the TM at the gym. For some reason I always get a runner that sounds like a horse on cobblestones on the machine next to me.

I don't need high quality, just something that will block the noise well.

I didn't know how to be organized until i started college, working while in college made me become organized so i could do well at both and still try to have spare time. Now as my time at college is drawing to a close I plan on staying on a schedule because I am much more efficient when scheduled.

I can't help with the BT earbuds, in the gym we have a boombox that we hook one of our phones up to and just crank it up, when I run outside I just wear corded earbuds.

I ran into a buddy of mine that I haven't seen in about 10 years, he moved and we kinda feel out of touch. Anyway he congratulated me on my weight loss and said I looked great. I thought it was funny cause my weight is 228 up from my "ideal" weight of 217 lbs. Then I remembered that the last time we saw each other I was a tic tac away from 290 lbs. I walked away feeling pretty good cause lately I've been pretty hard on myself for gaining weight. I guess it's all relative, I'm just waiting for the weather to turn so I can get back on the bike. Lesson for me was not to be too hard on myself so cut yourself a little slack.

    Good post.

I often wonder the same. I've ran into very few people I have not seen in 10 years. The crew I hang with have been pretty stable weight wise.

I've dropped from my max of 245 to ~225 and pretty much stayed there. I've been playing with the same 7 lbs for the last 2 years.

I can't argue, I feel better now that I exercise and eat a little better.

Yeah even though my weight is up I feel good about being able to loose the weight this summer as long as my back holds up. Even though I'm 58 I'm in the best shape I've been in for a long time.

Weighed for the first time in 13 days today, down 7.6 lbs by eating clean. I've only done one workout and a one mile run in the past 2 weeks.
11.8lbs to go until I hit my first goal weight.

4-5 weeks and my semester will finish up so I can take some of my school time and put it back into workouts.
