Ok i know i will get hammered for this..lol Im not sure if this is why the dome light is going off and on while the truck is running.....I have a autopage 350 alarm,Had it for 6 years and never a problem..Yesterday i installed a 506t audio sensor for glass breakage. My alarm has a built in shock sensor...I soldered the red wire to the brain from the audio sensor for power,The black for ground and the blue wire from the audio sensor needed a 1amp diode going to the brain of the alarm..The instructions said to hook the blue wire to a instant trigger sensor input..I found one on the alarm which was blue as well,It was a negative trigger wire...Can this be where i messed up?Does it need to be a positive trigger wire? Please don't beat me up to much..lol The sensor did work fine on the negative instant trigger wire but could i have it backwards and would this do something to the dome light?
I unplugged all the door pins and the light keeps coming on and off while driving...Should i check the dome supervision wire from the brain to the dome light?

Check to see if you installed the Diode backwards. And be sure the Dorr switch wires are not grounding out. Rock the car to seeif you can make the light blink.

I'd reverse what you did to see if it fixes the problem, If So research the issue before you rewire.

Post some schematics (Taco dome circuit, aftermarket alarm/sensor/sound sensor) and the instructions you were following. Perhaps one of us can make sense of it .... Do the top suggestions first and then advise.

i unplugged the harness for the audio sensor..the dome light works fine now...maybe a bad diode.

I think i found the problem...It looks like the installer used the same wire i used for the audio sensor glass breakage to trigger the dome light supervision instead of using a relay...Will i need to install a relay and put the dome supervision on the right wire instead of it on the alarm negative instant trigger sensor input?
