Ok just traded my 14 in for a 17. Dealer is switching my bilsteins and 3 leaf aal to my new truck. Any pictures set at 1.75 front and aal in back with 2017 TRD OR? Also was thinking about since I'm getting them switched over for free raising the front up to 2.5. What ya think?

I thought the shocks from a 14 wouldnt fit a 17, i thought it took a different shock or something.

Hold off on going too high unless you want to replace the driver side front diff bearing with the ECGS bushing. Personally, I'd drive it stock for a few months just to ensure no issues and then once you're feeling like no initially warranty issues, then look at replacing the shocks/AAL.

Im not 100 percent sure, i thought i was reading that the mount was a little different on the 16's and up. There is a thread on it somewhere on here, ill see if i can find it. Unless they figured out what it was, it seems i read that on here.

Well i guess i mayhave been wrong, i cant seem to find anything on here now, maybe it was just the rear shocks that didnt fit, im not for sure, but i would talk to like @HeadStrong Off-Road or @ToyTec Lifts and see if they know for sure. They would 100 percent know before i would.

But i am most certain if you go to 2.5 you will need UCA to get a good alignment.

You can swap your old in for new... can't be sure why you would want to tho... put a 3 year old suspension on a new truck?? The stock suspension will be well NEW.. and probably ride better than your old suspension.

Btm line - they will fit and that's why the dealer will be willing to do the swap for you. The suspension on an OR are Bilstein 4600s the same valving as 5100s which is what you likely have on your 14.

The OR will already have 1" lift over your stock 14 from the factory with the same ride but NEW.

Keep the stock suspension on the new OR and upgrade later.. you can get Bilsteins and AALs for around $800 NEW.

They just came out with a new Bilstein shock for the Gen3 about a month or 2 ago, before that we all used the gen2 version 5100s with new springs to do the lifting.

I'd stick with stock and upgrade later.

Yeah new suspension going to ride better than a 3 year old one... you'll see.. and love it. Then mod after like we all do... hahahaha you can save your money till you're ready to lift.
