What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

This stuff holds up way better, but I had the other stuff leftover

 

Mine had several plastic phillips screws that had to be removed also, use a shorty screwdriver, I also didnt have to pry they pretty much fell off. But it is very easy. I prefer the look but I'm sure I won't like the extra grime.

Drove it to 4 Wheel Parts in Indianapolis. Bought a new ARB 30' X 3" recovery strap. Drove home and re-packed bag holding all my recovery gear. Stowed away and ready to stick it in the mud again....once it thaws out.

 

Nope. Just cover the battery terminals and you're good to go.

Just placed order with them.

 

They make good stuff, and being able to be safely recovered from the front is very handy.

 

Stock TRD OR recovery point works, but isn't very "accepting" for a shackle or the open end of a snatch strap. Conventional shackle is the more sure way. Until I get a winch bumper later on this summer, I wanted a way to attach a shackle. Appreciate the help!

 

I had a decent amount of dirt build up behind the flaps, so I really don't think there will be much difference without them, other than a bit more on the body.

 

I used simple green and it didnt do shit
